Constellation Big Band - recreating the days of the big bands.

Constellation Big Band was formed as a rehearsal band about 35 years ago. The band recreates the days of big bands with music from Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton… and many more.

The band consisted of musicians who played in bands during the 39-45 war years and post-war years, who came together to once again enjoy the pleasures of playing music that they loved.

Over the years the personnel has changed but the big band sound has remained.
